On the 5th June 2020 John Blenkiron & Sons Funeral Directors had the honour of conducting the funeral of popular local man Liam Newton, a 28-year-old father-of-one who sadly died from a rare form of cancer.
The popular plumber’s funeral procession was applauded by hundreds of Darlington residents who lined the streets to pay their respects, clapping as a procession of motorbikes, pedal bikes and plumbing vans followed the hearse to the North Road Cemetery
Whilst COVID-19 restrictions were in place with the support of his family, friends, and the Darlington community John Blenkiron & Sons were still able to give Liam a fitting farewell.
