Operations Manager Carl Tate is a member of the Richmond Round Table; every year, they sit in the Mayor’s Parlour and hand out presents to the children.
This year was their busiest yet, with around 150 children coming into the town hall and then into the Mayor’s Parlour to see Santa. Some local Ukrainian families visited and said how appreciative they were of all the efforts made by Santa and his elves.
Carl said: “I set up the grotto with pride wearing my John Blenkiron and Sons Jacket. So I was there as a member of the Round Table, a Councillor and a representative of John Blenkiron and Sons”.
Richmond Round Table are already planning to hold the event again next year, with Carl and the team busy fundraising for next year’s presents.
