There are not enough words to express our gratitude towards Blenkirons funeral directors, in particular Sarah who's caring nature, compassion & professionalism ensured my nephews funeral went smoothly, her absolute attention to detail ensured my fears were listened to, her care and compassion extended beyond the funeral and for that i am truly grateful, I would HIGHLY recommend Blenkirons funeral directors.

As someone who works in a care home, I regularly interact with this funeral directors when they come to take over the care of those who have passed away. Every member of staff I’ve encountered has shown nothing but compassion, dignity, and respect throughout the process.

Recently, I attended their training day, “Our Care Beyond Yours,” which was incredibly insightful. It answered many questions and provided a valuable look into the care and attention given after someone leaves our care and is entrusted to the funeral directors. Seeing the level of professionalism and dedication behind the scenes was very reassuring.

Their team consistently demonstrates kindness, sensitivity, and professionalism, making what is always a difficult time feel handled with the utmost respect. I would highly recommend them for the outstanding care they provide.

All the team where very professional, John and James helped the family with the process of making any arrangements. They helped on the day to make things run smoothly. All in all a special team and they will cover any questions your wanting to know or may need to ask.

Michelle provided clear information about the processes and professionals involved. She explained all of our options fully. She was compassionate and professional, checking in with me regularly to see how we were and to update of how things were progressing and reassuring us that Mum was being well cared for. Michelle got the balance of contact just right, knowing I’m usually responsible for organising everything she ensured I felt in comfortable with how things were progressing. Michelle picked the perfect Celebrant for us too. I would highly recommend Michelle and the team at Blenkiron’s.

Everyone was kind, friendly and helpful. I was especially pleased that I got in touch before mums death so sort out the arrangements when she died as it made everything so much better on the day for everyone involved. I was particularly impressed with Sarah & Steve who came to collect mum and Michelle for her care throughout the whole time. I would not hesitate (& havent) to recommend Blenkirons for funerals.
